Pismo Adventures was born when I noticed the only guided hunts on public land were located in Northern California. I didn’t want to ride in a jeep to hunt. I wanted to hike into public land, sleep in a tent, shoot a buck, and pack it out. Then I liked to BBQ up the meat with lemon and rosemary to feed my wife and two children. Mike Muscio established this outdoor company back in 2017 because he wanted to offer hunts that walked into the mountains and left the 4 by 4's behind. A hunt that offered slowing down and challenged hunters to sleep in a tent on the ground. Several hunters have used these experiences to launch their own solo trips into the backcountry without the need of a guide. Pismo Adventures specializes in newcomers to the hunting lifestyle.
