I am amazed at how interconnected all of us human beings are now that there is so much technology. I just finished watching the MeatEater episode with Buck Bowden. With all the storage I can see questions that normally I would not have. A question came through, "What question would you ask Buck Bowden?" These questions came in like, "How did you start guiding?" or "How can I become a guide?"
I damn sure am no Buck Bowden. With that said I've got advice, and everyone has some, so weigh it with a grain of salt. You become a guide with these 3 steps:
1. Find where the animals hang out
2.Buy your state master guide license
3. Buy some liability insurance
It really does take those three steps. If I've learned anything this year, it is that there are no guarantees. I've got to take steps to move in the direction I want to go. No one will take those steps for me.
